Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Environmental Compliance Officer to ensure our organization complies with environmental laws, regulations, and sustainability standards. The successful candidate will monitor environmental performance, conduct inspections, prepare reports, and support initiatives that minimize environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations.

• Conduct environmental audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

• Prepare and maintain environmental compliance reports and documentation.

• Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions.

• Develop and implement environmental management policies and procedures.

• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and assist during inspections.

• Provide environmental compliance training to employees.

• Monitor waste management, emissions, pollution control, and resource conservation programs.

• Stay updated on changes in environmental legislation and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.

• Experience in environmental compliance, environmental management, or regulatory affairs.

• Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and environmental reporting systems.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications related to environmental compliance or sustainability.

• Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.

• Knowledge of environmental auditing and risk management practices.
